About Donna

Donna became a Master Nutrition Therapist (MNT)...

Being diagnosed with Behcet's auto-immune disease in 2001, when Donna’s children were 2-1/2 and 6 months, wasn’t in the life plan.  Luckily a work associate shared what had helped her with an auto-immune condition. This is when Donna’s journey and fascination with nutrition began.  She decided to use western medicine only when absolutely necessary and incorporate a nutritional approach to health and healing into her daily life. Since 2001, Donna has used food as medicine.

She studied on her own for years, implemented new concepts and decided it was time to pursue what she really wanted to know.  What is the science behind why food is healing? With working full time and three kids in school, sports and activities, her husband took on a lot of the juggling act and she pursued her interest to become a Master Nutrition Therapist.  In the process, adrenal insufficiency was avoided and the daily practice of how to stay healthy through specific nutrients was refined.

Although Donna specializes in pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, syndrome x, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other auto-immune nutrition, she can also provide support and advice for a variety of challenges ranging from balancing blood lipids, cancer, non-alcoholic fatty liver, autism, skin conditions, and plantar fasciitis.

She offers a practical approach to whole life nutrition. Your nutrition may need a little tweak or it may need dedicated attention; whatever the case, Donna's goal is to make your transition to a new way of eating affordable and effective.

To accommodate busy schedules and time zones, Donna meets with clients across North America via online meeting in the evenings and on the weekends. Her goal is to make the process efficient.

Donna graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 1990 and from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver as a Master Nutrition Therapist in 2015. To complete qualifications, Donna completed internship hours with Dr. Keppel of Natural Family Health Care, Amy Granger of Love and Light Holistic Health Services and Donna Wild well-known nutrition expert and lecturer.
