It starts with analysis...
To determine your nutritional needs, recent blood work and a seven-day food log will be analyzed and then paired with a health appraisal to understand your specific focus nutrients.
If you have blood work from a recent doctor visit, let's get started. If you need a resource for blood work, contact me and I can provide lab information for the draw.
Blood work containing these markers is needed:
Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP-14), Glucose Levels*, Kidney Profile, Liver Panel, Fluids and Electrolytes, Lipid Panel with Total Cholesterol: HDL Ratio, Thyroid Panel with Thyroid-stimulating Hormone (TSH), Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential and Platelets, Mineral and Bone, Vitamin B and D markers.
*Glucose levels will include A1C

Supplements
Food is first as the focus for nutritional support; however, if your body is significantly deficient in specific nutrients supplements will be recommended.
Concerns
Our ties to food run deep. We may associate love, comfort or special events to certain foods.
You don't have to give up everything you enjoy eating. Sometimes our most loved foods become our special treats.
If we find that your body is sensitive or intolerant to a specific food and remove it, after a few weeks you will notice changes. There may be less aches, stuffiness, skin that doesn't itch, or fewer auto-immune breakouts, you could start sleeping better or enjoy increased energy. The benefit outweighs the sacrifice.
Don't wait for a health crisis in order to make a change in your nutrition.
