Friends are coming over


Friends that we have known for nearly 17 years are coming over for dinner tonight. Within the group of ten we have an allergy to eggs, gluten and dairy as well as an intolerance to onions. We also have a few who eat anything and everything. What to eat? It's really simple. We're grilling steak and having a marinated kale salad with bits of squash, carrots and apple. The marinade is lemon juice, sea salt and olive oil. It's a simple salad dressing - delightful and refreshing. A gluten-free peach cobbler may be the finishing treat. We'll see how much time I have with all the other things that I need to get done today...
