Yoga and Health


Many people think that yoga is all about flexibility. Flexibility is ONE of the many benefits of yoga. I started being more diligent with my yoga practice to move lymph fluid, lower coritsol (the big, bad stress hormone) and to help support my fatigued adrenal glands. High cortisol interferes with bone formation, contributes to high blood presure and increases insulin resistance which can lead to diabetes. It also makes you hungry! Join my friend, Leah, in her studio in Broomfield to try out a class or attend one of her free community sessions before the end of September on every-other Sunday at Whole Foods in Bradburn on the Broomfield/Wesminster border.
