Are you trying to stay true to your new year resolution of losing a few pounds, but feel hungry all the time? (!!) Remember these tips:

- Drink 50% of your body weight in ounces of FILTERED water daily

- Increase fiber via fresh vegetables and 1T of psyllium husk per day. The psyllium can be mixed into non-dairy yogurt, gluten-free oatmeal, cauliflower mashed "potatoes" or soup

- Spread your food intake out over 5 meals to avoid hunger pains. I.E. Eat at 6am, 9am, 12noon, 3pm and 6pm

- Eat a protein each time...1/2 of a sliced apple with sunflower seed butter...not just 1/2 of an apple

- Give up gluten and replace it with quinoa or brown rice with a serving size of 1/4 cup

- Give up dairy and replace it with coconut milk, almond milk or coconut/almond milk

- Worried about calcium with giving up dairy? Calcium is easy for your body to absorb from fresh vegetables. Add some citrus to your greens and enhance absorption even more!
